Privacy policy
Plain English. I work alone, so "I" always means me, Amer Habeeb.
Who is responsible
Amer Habeeb, India. Contact: a message on Fiverr. I decide what happens to the details you send through this site, so I am the controller of that data.
What I collect
- What you type into the request form: your first name, your email, the link to your deck, the link to your model if you add one, when you meet investors, and anything you ask me to look at first.
- The source field: which of my links brought you here, or "direct".
- The deck and model you link to, including any people named in them.
- Your self-check answers, if you add them to your request.
Why I use it, and the lawful basis
- To write your free read and reply to you. You ask for this, so the lawful basis is steps taken at your request, under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- For people named in your deck, and for the source field, the lawful basis is my legitimate interests, under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: reading the deck you chose to send, and knowing which of my links works.
Where it is processed
I work from India, so your request is processed in India and by the services below, most of which are in the USA.
- Formspree, which delivers the form to my inbox.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and counts page views without cookies.
If you contact me on Fiverr, Fiverr's own privacy policy also applies.
How long I keep it
Unless you hire me, I delete your form entry, the email it arrived in, any copy of your files and my notes within days of sending your read. I keep the read itself in my sent email so I can answer follow-up questions; ask and I'll delete that too. Copies in these services' backups expire on their own schedules.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how I use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Ask me at in a Fiverr message and I'll answer in writing. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live or work.
Your browser
This site uses no cookies. It keeps your unsent form draft in your own browser for up to 7 days and remembers if you came from Fiverr. Nothing leaves your device until you press send.
I don't sell your data.
How I handle your deck
The same view-only link you send investors works, and you can revoke it once your read arrives. I use your deck only to write your read and, if you hire me, to do the work. No other person sees it, and I never publish it or use it as a sample without your written permission. The only services that touch it are the ones listed under "Where it is processed".
